Holly Froning is the coordinator of the Barn Quilts of Kankakee County. Kankakee currently has 42 quilts adorning barns across the county. The display of barn quilts spread across the country from coast to coast through 27 states and Canada. Nearly 100 dedicated driving trails with more than 1,800 quilt barns throughout rural America. Holly will present a power-point presentation of the quilts in Kankakee County. Program is from 1:30 p.m - 2:30 p.m.

This program is based on the American Girl Doll Samantha and everyone learns what it was like to grow up in a large home with servants and special rules. They will also learn calling card etiquette and then everyone makes a calling card to take home. This program is at 1:30 p.m. and is preformed by The Tea Ladies, Inc.

Come and watch "Where the Wild Things Are" at 6:00 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet by the cicrulation desk. There is a limit of 60 people. The first 24 will receive a inflatable monster. All kids will get a monster lollipop.
