Gibson City Gardeners Club
Ashley Warren from the Ford County Soil and Water Conservation District will speak on water gardens and rain barrels at the August 14 meeting of the Gibson City Garden Club to be held at Moyer at 6 pm. In particular, Warren will discuss how to set rain barrels and give attendees dates on when SWCD will offer discounted rain barrels next year. Garden Club leader, Rebecca Craig, invites all gardeners and those interested in exploring ways the city can reduce flooding potentials, utilize rain water, and beautify our community all at the same time through rain gardens.
