The Illinois State Senior Spelling Bee competition is an exciting statewide program that provides Illinois adults age 50 and older the opportunity to showcase a lifetime of knowledge and to celebrate years of experience through spelling abilities. The program is coordinated by the Association of Illinois Senior Centers with the help of the Illinois Department on Aging.
The competition includes three levels of competition: local, regional, and finals at the 2016 Illinois State Fair on Senior Day, Monday, August 15 inside the Illinois Building Auditorium at 1pm.
